Our formulation brings together three traditional homeopathic approaches:

Hypo Thyroid Care is intended as a complementary, individualized homeopathic support, not as a substitute for appropriate thyroid diagnosis, monitoring or medically prescribed treatment.

Hypothyroidism cannot be diagnosed from symptoms alone. Blood tests, particularly TSH and thyroid hormone measurements such as T4, are used to confirm the diagnosis and help determine its cause.

For confirmed hypothyroidism, levothyroxine is the standard thyroid hormone replacement treatment used to replace the hormone the thyroid is unable to produce adequately. Thyroid levels are monitored regularly so that the dose can be adjusted when necessary.

Our complementary approach therefore focuses on understanding the woman's complete symptom picture and overall wellbeing, while encouraging appropriate thyroid monitoring and medical follow-up.

A brief consultation is recommended before dispensing so that the patient's age, TSH/T4 reports, thyroid history, current medicines, menstrual history, symptoms and overall medical condition can be reviewed.

Hypothyroidism requires appropriate diagnosis and monitoring. Symptoms such as tiredness, weight gain, constipation and hair loss can also occur with many other health conditions, so they should not automatically be attributed to the thyroid.

Women taking levothyroxine or other prescribed thyroid treatment should not stop, reduce or replace their medication on the basis of using a homeopathic product alone. Regular thyroid blood tests remain important, and medication doses should only be changed under appropriate medical guidance.

Women who are pregnant, planning pregnancy or have recently given birth should discuss their thyroid condition with their healthcare professional, as thyroid hormone requirements and monitoring can change during pregnancy. Untreated hypothyroidism can also increase the risk of pregnancy complications.

Women with a markedly abnormal TSH/T4, significant thyroid enlargement, a thyroid nodule, severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, or significant palpitations or other concerning symptoms should receive appropriate medical evaluation.

As with other complementary approaches, evidence supporting homeopathy for treating hypothyroidism or restoring thyroid hormone levels is limited. Therefore, Hypo Thyroid Care should be viewed as complementary support rather than a proven treatment for hypothyroidism.
