Menso Care

Our formulation brings together three traditional homeopathic approaches:

1. Biochemic Salts

Biochemic salts are traditionally used within homeopathy and are selected according to their traditional indications and the individual's overall symptom picture. Within Menso Care, they form part of a complementary approach to women's general menstrual and reproductive wellbeing.

2. Mother Tinctures

Mother tinctures are concentrated plant-based homeopathic preparations traditionally used for specific therapeutic indications. The mother tincture component is selected according to its intended supportive role within the formulation and the woman's individual clinical picture.

3. Potentized Homeopathic Medicines

The potentized medicines are selected according to traditional homeopathic principles and the individual symptom pattern.

Homeopathic prescribing may consider factors such as:

• Age and menstrual history
• Cycle length and pattern
• Early, delayed or missed periods
• Duration and amount of menstrual bleeding
• Menstrual pain and associated symptoms

• Acne, oily skin or unwanted facial/body hair

Menso Care is intended as a complementary, individualized homeopathic support, not as a substitute for gynecological or medical evaluation.

Irregular periods are a symptom rather than a diagnosis. When the menstrual pattern changes significantly or remains irregular, identifying the underlying cause is important because treatment depends on that cause. Medical assessment may include a pregnancy test, blood tests, hormonal evaluation or other investigations when appropriate.

A brief consultation is therefore recommended before dispensing Menso Care so that the woman's menstrual history, symptoms, medical history, current medicines and previous investigations can be reviewed.

It may be considered as complementary support for women experiencing:

• Irregular menstrual cycles
• Periods that frequently come earlier or later than expected
• Delayed or occasionally missed periods
• Variation in cycle length from month to month
• Menstrual irregularity associated with stress or lifestyle changes
• Menstrual concerns associated with PCOS or other established conditions

Keeping a menstrual diary or using a cycle-tracking app can also be helpful for identifying changes in cycle length, bleeding pattern and associated symptoms.

Understanding Irregular Periods

Irregular menstruation can occur at certain stages of life, particularly during the early years after periods begin and during the transition toward menopause. However, a new or persistent change in a previously regular cycle should not automatically be assumed to be a simple “hormonal imbalance.”

Conditions such as PCOS and thyroid disorders can affect menstrual regularity, while pregnancy should also be considered whenever relevant. Significant weight loss or gain, excessive exercise and ongoing stress can also influence the menstrual cycle.

When Medical Evaluation Is Important

Women should seek appropriate medical assessment if they experience:

• Repeatedly irregular or significantly changed periods
• Periods lasting longer than 7 days
• Very heavy menstrual bleeding
• Bleeding between periods or after intercourse
• Three consecutive missed periods
• Significant or worsening pelvic pain
• Irregular periods accompanied by marked weight change, excessive facial/body hair, acne or unusual fatigue
• Difficulty becoming pregnant
• Any possibility of pregnancy associated with unusual bleeding or pelvic pain

Unusual bleeding between periods or after sex should be evaluated, as there can be several possible causes requiring different treatment.

An Important Note About Menstrual Health

Menso Care should not be used with the expectation that it will “balance hormones,” guarantee regular cycles, restore ovulation or guarantee pregnancy.

Its role is complementary and individualized. Women who are taking hormonal treatment, thyroid medication, fertility medicines or other prescribed treatment should not stop, reduce or replace those medicines on the basis of using Menso Care alone.

There is currently insufficient reliable clinical evidence to establish homeopathy as an effective treatment for correcting the underlying causes of irregular menstruation.
