PCOS Care

Our formulation brings together three traditional homeopathic approaches:

1. Biochemic Salts

Biochemic salts are traditionally used in homeopathy as part of an approach focused on general mineral and cellular balance. They are selected according to traditional homeopathic indications and the individual's overall symptom picture.

2. Mother Tinctures

Mother tinctures are concentrated plant-based homeopathic preparations traditionally used for specific therapeutic indications. The mother tincture component is selected according to its intended supportive role within the formulation and the woman's hormonal, metabolic and general health picture.

3. Potentized Homeopathic Medicines

The potentized medicines are selected according to traditional homeopathic principles and the individual's symptom pattern.

PCOS Care is intended as a complementary, individualized homeopathic support, not as a substitute for appropriate PCOS diagnosis, monitoring or evidence-based medical treatment.

PCOS is diagnosed using an overall clinical assessment. Depending on age and circumstances, healthcare professionals may consider menstrual/ovulatory patterns, signs or laboratory evidence of androgen excess and ovarian morphology or other appropriate investigations. Other conditions that can produce similar symptoms may also need to be excluded.

A healthy lifestyle is an important part of PCOS care. The international guideline recommends ongoing attention to healthy eating, physical activity, prevention of excess weight gain and, when appropriate, weight management—while recognizing that there is no single diet or exercise regimen that is uniquely best for every woman with PCOS.

Depending on the individual's goals and symptoms, evidence-based medical treatment may also be appropriate. For example, hormonal contraceptives may be used for menstrual irregularity and hyperandrogenic symptoms, metformin may have a role particularly for metabolic features, and specific fertility treatments may be considered when pregnancy is desired.

Our complementary approach therefore focuses on the whole woman—her menstrual pattern, hormonal symptoms, metabolic wellbeing, lifestyle and emotional health—while encouraging appropriate medical monitoring.

A brief consultation is recommended before dispensing so that the woman's age, menstrual history, PCOS diagnosis, hormonal reports, ultrasound history where relevant, weight pattern, current medicines, fertility goals and associated symptoms can be reviewed.

PCOS is a long-term condition that can affect more than menstrual cycles. It is associated with metabolic risk factors and can also have significant effects on emotional wellbeing and quality of life. Appropriate long-term monitoring should therefore be individualized.

Medical assessment is particularly important when there is:

• Very heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding
• Prolonged absence of periods
• New or rapidly worsening excessive hair growth
• Rapid scalp hair loss
• Significant unexplained weight change

Women with PCOS who are trying to conceive may require specific assessment and fertility support because irregular ovulation can make conception more difficult. Evidence-based fertility treatments are available when needed.

Women taking metformin, hormonal medicines, anti-androgens, fertility medicines or other prescribed treatment should not stop, reduce or replace their medication on the basis of using a homeopathic product alone.

PCOS Care should also not be presented as a treatment that “cures PCOS,” “balances hormones” in a medically established sense, restores ovulation, removes ovarian cysts or guarantees weight loss or pregnancy.

As with other complementary approaches, evidence supporting homeopathy for treating PCOS is limited. Therefore, PCOS Care should be viewed as complementary support rather than a proven treatment for PCOS.
